The protest for Wall Street turned violent. They got arrested during the march for disorder conduct. At one point, the protesters were reportedly maced and threatened with police batons when 150 marchers demanded access to wall street. This protest in New York started on Sep 17, and spread to other cities. In Los Angeles, police began to arrest a anti-wall street group. Demonstrators also camp out on Los Angeles for the past week. The protesters speak largely about unemployment and other issues. Some unions were donating food, blankets, and office space for the protesters.
I think police need to do more about the protests. They should get the people off the streets, since their is nothing they can do to help them. Its a good thing that the unions are helping them out. Their donations to the protesters help them out tremendously. The protesters have reason to be protesting though, but when they get violent police forces should step in and break it. The protesters should know their rights, but not do too much like disorder conduct. Protesters around the country are showing their support. All the protests are not located in New York, they are around the city. The government needs to find a solution for this, as soon as possible, before it gets too violent.
